Calm before the storm ..

It's been a quieter week this week so the batteries are charging up ready for the schools work to kick in next week .

As a church we go into 18 schools in the South Shropshire area which is a tremendous opportunity for the Gospel .

Katie is away on a Christian camp recovering from the trauma of her GCSE results which were much better than she expected ...she did really well and surprised herself ;-)

Also last Sunday Roger Carter came over to see us with his girlfriend Rachel . Roger was part of our mission in 2006 and in now working amongst the youth in Covent Garden & Soho . It was really good to have them over for the day . And Roger /Rachel if you are reading this keep in touch and let me know how the work is going .

Slowly Back in to the routine

I have to confess to feeling slightly jaded yesterday . When you become old like like me it takes a while to recover from a full on week like last week ..

Today though , I was rejuvenated ,so much so that I managed to draw in racket ball with Phil this morning ..he obviously can't take the pace any more ..

Anna got the results she needed in her A levels to get into Liverpool Hope University .

Well done Anna , Love you to bits ...We will all miss you when your gone :-(

Wem Baptist Church HBC re-united ..great night

Great celebration last night of God's goodness to us over 40 years of Holiday Bible Club's at Wem Baptist Church ...150 folk re-united to relive some of their memories and to once again hear the Gospel proclaimed by Darren Arthur from the Slade ... Wonderful evening , thanks go to all those who worked so hard in making it happen .
