Spent the day with my old friends at Wem Baptist Church yesterday. Holiday Bible club .. Brilliant.

Clouds and Sunshine.

Yesterday it was gloriously sunny , today the clouds hang low over Liverpool. Often it's just the same in our own lives, one day we are upbeat and the next downcast.

The solution is always found by looking beyond the clouds ....

Psalms 40:1-3

1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
he inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He drew me up from the pit of destruction,

Been a good day today , tired now,need to sleep hopefully as well as these two :-)

A Wall Of Memories

Laura spent much of last week plastering her walls with photographs of days gone by. Lots of good memories.

Someone once said to me that one of the primary roles of a parent is to make good memories for your children. ...so true .

Sweet Pea TLC

After months of tending to my sweet peas finally there are signs of the flowers to come. Got to be a spiritual lesson in there somewhere :-)

Holding each other accountable.

Met with Phil for an hour or so this morning. Encouraged each other in the ups and downs of life this side of heaven. A valued time one that is always of mutual spiritual benefit.

Another day for Ark building

Woke up to the patter of rain drops on the window again !! The wettest summer on record. So on my to do list today will be a trip to B&Q for materials for my ark:-)

Decided to treat ourselves to a curry tonight at the Red Fort on Lark Lane. Bargain if you get there before 7pm.

Only problem is Laura has now started throwing up. ....maybe not such a bargain after all :-)
